Thanks to its specific properties, i.e. lack of lateral thermal spread around the jet, low diffusion into the depth of ablated tissues, kinetic energy enhancing deep spaces dissection, PlasmaJet has become one of my favourite surgical tools. I have routinely used it for the last 10 years to manage ovarian endometriomas in women with pregnancy wish, to perform excision of deep endometriosis nodules of rectosigmoid, vagina or bladder, and to vaporize diaphragmatic endometriosis lesions, with good postoperative functional outcomes.
