Steven Learoyd joined Plasma Surgical as a member of the inaugural UK-based operational team that developed the first prototype console, then managed through its’ lifecycle to the current working production product PlasmaJet. He was instrumental in setting up the UK manufacturing facilities, procedures, and quality systems, then migrating the console manufacturing line to the US. Along with supply chain management and console production, Steven is also responsible for managing console service and upgrades.
Steven is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience of design and development of scientific and analytical equipment gained while working for Fisons and Sanyo. Steve’s prior experience also includes thirteen years with Oxford Glyco Sciences where he transitioned technology from product design to from conception to high scale product manufacturing.
